Percussion, piano, keyboard, bodhran, guitar,  vocals.

Born in Switzerland. When he was old enough to study music, he started doing so full time at the Jazz School of St. Gall and eventually continued at the Conservatoire of Winterthur, where he earned a  professional drummer and percussionist diploma in 1988. His classical training of course also included marimbaphone and xylophone. 

Andreas has played the rhythm part in 17 live and studio CD recordings with various formations over the years. His devotion to drums and percussion led to the opening of his very own rhythm school (Baraban) in 1995.
