Wade, born in Wexford, Ireland. Biography.
1976
Wexford County tin whistle champion.
1979/1980
Formed the traditional band "Sonas" which represented
Ireland
at the Festival Interceltique de Lorient.
1989
Lead singer in "Cry Before Dawn", Best Irish Band at the
National Music Awards IRMA. The band is still active in Ireland
sporadically.
1996
Duo with Paul Bell "The Swans". Wrote songs that went
to no. 1 in the
charts and now part of the Wexford folklore.
1998
Played on the Angelo Branduardi album "Il Ditto Et La
Luna". Also played opening acts for Elton John amongst other
famous artists.
Previous member of the legendary Dublin folk band "The Wild
Colonial Boys"
for many years, performing at the well known Johnny Fox's Pub in
Glencullen,
Co Dublin.
Living
in Winterthur with his family, Brendan has performed with many
Irish
bands and as a solo artist at numerous venues throughout
Switzerland,
including AVO Sessions in Basel. |
